Barcelona had the spotlight following the disease experienced by two important figures in their last season. Coach Tito Vilanova and Eric Abidal are both experiencing health problems that could not contribute much to the team. Vilanova eventually forced to resign from his position to focus more on the treatment he underwent.
It is recognized by Lionel Messi is a wedge themselves in the Barca dressing room.
"The incident is felt heavily by everyone, because it occurred after Abidal was diagnosed with cancer, and the next Tito who experience it," said Messi told reporters recently.
"It is very complicated because the locker room love these two figures, Tito and Abidal. Incident raises considerable impact for the whole squad," added La Pulga.
Abidal alone could eventually recover, although he later chose to pursue a career at AS Monaco. While still continuing his treatment Vilanova
