No thanks to red card earned star player Cristiano Ronaldo in the match against Athletic Bilbao , Real Madrid called to appeal . This was done in order to reduce the potential for additional penalties to be had CR7 .
Madrid has studied the reports made by the match referee Ayza Gamez . Madrid assume there are three errors in the report and will make it as a basis for appeal .
The first , Madrid took the game still runs when Ronaldo foul on Carlos Gurpegi which bear a red card . Secondly , Madrid Ronaldo not considered a foul on Ander Iturraspe . Ronaldo and Iturraspe could collide head after the incident with Gurpegi .
The latter , the referee judging the actions Ronaldo ( hand pressed against his cheek , signaling bed / asleep ) directed at the fourth official is considered an insult . Madrid doubt this because there is almost no evidence of that.
